Charles Greville Morris

(1861-1894) British

Manchester landscape painter. Born in Lancashire, studied in the Paris Academy under M.M. Bollinger, Collins and  Courtois. Exhibited from 1866 -1894 at the Royal Academy and various other galleries, all landscapes. Charles frequently painted set’s of three paintings, Morning, Midday and Moonlight scenes. He lived in St Ives after 1892. One of his paintings is in the Manchester City Art Gallery.
