Daniel Munro (fl 1840 to 1880)

Munro lived and painted in Glasgow, exhibiting 80 paintings at The Royal Scottish Academy from 1846 to 1872. He painted fine quality interiors, portraits and landscapes reflecting life in and around Scotland. Although a prolific painter his paintings rarely appear on the market. Daniel’s painting style is reminiscent of the Old Master painters.
