Claude L. Clark (1858-1905)
Claude was a painter in oil of farming scenes often
featuring farmyards, workers with their teams of Shire Horses in
the fields and Blacksmiths at work. Some of his scenes include a
black and white sheepdog; He does not appear to have exhibited as
there is little biographical information on him. His paintings are
known to dealers and collector and feature a distinctive monogram
or a full signature “Claude Lne. Clark”.
